Education is the key to open the golden door of freedom. And freedom, art and creativity will transform society faster than any norms, impositions or politics.

 

In this site, some pedagogic ideas, content and materials will be presented and accurately detailed. The teaching implementations included in the webpage are result from Practicum IV and Practicum V experience of a senior year student in an actual Elementary School context.

 

The overall project is formed by three different didactic units, which have been taught through the Written Expression area and the English Language subject. The first one, under the name of "Creating an illustrated album", uses Catalan as the vehicular language, while the other two, "Learning about the U.K." and "Learning about the 1950's", are taught through English.

 

 

Both teaching sequences have been applied to a 6th grade group class in a school named Escola Mogent and placed in La Roca del Vallès, a small town next to Barcelona.
